NON-SURGICAL TREATMENT

The excessive production of sweat by the sweat glands causes great inconvenience and discomfort in the social life of many patients. The most affected areas are the armpits, but it can also occur on the hands and feet. The use of Botox® is an efficient treatment, but it requires reapplications as the toxin is metabolized.

SURGERY- LIPOSUCTION FOR AXILLARY SWEATING

PROCEDURE

It is performed under local anesthesia and sedation, lasting from 1 to 2 hours.

5 mm scars in the anterior axillary crease and in the proximal internal part of the arm allow the access to thin cannulas that suck the sweat glands.

CARE

Rapid recovery, with return to daily activities after 3 days.

Physical exercises after 15 days.

RESULTS

In some cases, there may be partial recurrence, but the vast majority presents satisfactory and definitive results.
